Summer exhibition at the Tungenes lighthouse

The light and the landscape surrounding the Tungenes lighthouse is spectacular, wheather visiting in winter or in the summer months.

This summer I am invited to give my interpretation of Tungenes, at the northernmost end of the Jæren region, together with painter Annlaug Auestad and glass artist Trine Sundt.

Ved å arbeida i nær kontakt med tradisjonsmateriale, utviklar eg vidare kunnskapen eg fekk frå Ellen Kjærgaard, Césàr Fariña og Hege Stenseng på Pottemakeriet ved Norsk Folkemuseum i Oslo.

 

Bakgrunnen min som etnolog er også til både glede og nytte i arbeidet.
